| COCONUT COIR GROWING MEDIUM, 100% organic biodegradable growing medium derived from the coconut husk (a renewable product, unlike peat moss which is being depleted). Naturally rich in nutrients, with a pH range of 5.5 to 6.5. Each bale will expand in volume approximately 5 times when wetted, yielding nearly 2.5 cubic feet. Add 40 lbs. of our organic compost, some natural fertilizer, greensand, rock phosphate, and Planters II to one bale of wetted coir to make an excellent potting soil. |
